BeamShape

BeamShape designs and builds electron beam technology, including complete electron beam columns for its own instruments and for OEM partners. It also develops EOD (Electron Optical Design), a simulation suite for designing and verifying charged particle systems from emitter to sample.

Its customers are instrument manufacturers that commission custom columns and subsystems, from feasibility study to production-ready hardware, and users of the EOD software, which BeamShape distributes. The website also presents its own products: a 60 kV, 2 kW electron beam column with an integrated backscatter detector for melting and welding, and an electron beam melting metal printer. In March 2026 the company announced an exclusive global distributorship of EOD software.

BeamShape was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic. The team page lists co-founders Petr Mareš (CEO) and Hynek Štětina (CTO), plus senior engineers in development and electron optics. The website is published in English.
