bergfex.at

bergfex operates websites and three mobile apps covering weather forecasts, webcams, ski resort snow and lift status, hiking, ski touring and mountain bike routes, and accommodation listings. The site covers regions in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia and other European countries.

The audience is outdoor and winter sports users who plan activities and trips. Accommodation providers appear as listings, and the site includes an enquiry form that passes requests to the bergfex team for follow-up. The site also promotes advertising ("Werben auf bergfex"); the input does not detail the full revenue mix.

The company states that bergfex was launched in 1999 in Graz, Austria, and that bergfex GmbH was founded in 2005. Its office is in Graz, and the careers page lists 35 employees and open positions. The site and apps are published in several languages.
