Financopedia

Financopedia is a Slovak financial intermediary that advises clients on financial products and runs financial literacy education through Instagram, a blog and seminars. Its advisory covers life and non-life insurance, mortgages, the 2nd and 3rd pensions pillars, and investing in a mix of popular ETF index funds.

Its customers are individuals and families in Slovakia, and the website presents the service as comprehensive advice with all contracts managed in one place. The website does not describe its fee or commission model.

The project was started by founder Filip Schlosser in summer 2020 as an educational Instagram profile and became a business registered in 2021 as Financopedia s. r. o. It operates within the Umbrella Group pool, and the website states that nearly 20 colleagues work on the company's story. The registered headquarters is Bratislava.
