OneHotBook

OneHotBook publishes audiobooks by contemporary Czech and world authors, modern literary classics and children's titles. Each production includes dramaturgy, direction, music, post-production and design, and the titles are offered as CD and digital downloads. The company also produces audiobooks on a turnkey basis for other publishers.

Its customers are audiobook listeners who buy titles directly from its online shop, as well as publishers who commission audiobook production. The website does not disclose revenue figures.

According to the company's About page, the publishing business was founded in November 2011 by owner Martin Pilař under the name Dragontattoo, and the OneHotBook brand and logo were introduced in December 2012. The website lists wins in the Audiobook of the Year competition from 2013 onward. The registry gives Praha as the headquarters city, and the current joint-stock company (a.s.) entity was registered in 2024.
